This is a Course based Master's program.   • An applicant must hold a 4-year bachelor degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline with a minimum major average of 70% or an average of 77% or better in the last 3 years of study. Because of the large number of applicants to the Masters of Applied Computing, the minimum admitting average does not guarantee admission. In particular, having 5 or more grades below 70% in computer science courses, will significantly decrease your chances for admission to this program. In addition, applicants with 2 or more backlogs in computer science core courses will not be admitted.
  • Deadline for Summer: Summer 2022 applications will be opened on May 3, 2021 and will close on March 1, 2022.
  • Deadline for Fall: Due to a high number of applications, we are no longer accepting applications for Fall 2021.
  • Deadline for Winter: July 1
  • 4 Year honours degree in a related field
  • Minimum TOEFL: IBT-92 (a minimum of 23 in each band)
  • Minimum IELTS: 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0 and no more than one band score of 6.0.
  • Minimum Pearson: 65
