International Year One allows students to begin earning credits toward their degree even if they don’t meet the academic and English requirements for direct entry. The Graduate Pathway in Data Analytics will prepare students to enter the next semester of a master’s degree program at Drew University.

Academic requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with 2.5 GPA and a single class (module) in Statistics or Computer Programming.

English language entry requirements

  • 2 Semesters: TOEFL iBT 65 (14 subscores), IELTS 5.5 (5.0 subscores), PTEA 44, Password 5.5, Completion of Academic English Level 4, IELA 169, or Duolingo 95.
  • 30 total credits required for degree
  • 12 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • 18 credit hours remaining towards degree

  • EAP 501 Graduate Skills I: Reading/Writing 3 Credits
  • EAP 502 Graduate Skills I: Listening/Speaking 3 Credits
  • DATA 501 Data Analytics: Introduction, History, and Case Studies 3 Credits
  • DATA 503 Applied Regression Analysis 3 Credits
  • Total 12 Credits

Semester 2

  • EAP 503 Graduate Skills II: Reading and Writing 3 Credits
  • EAP 504 Graduate Skills II: Listening and Speaking 3 Credits
  • DATA 551 Modeling and Simulation 3 Credits
