- There are two stages to studying the LPC. The first involves completing four compulsory modules; the second allows you to make a selection of focused modules, depending on your interest areas and which version of the course you’re studying.

UK Entry Requirements
- To be eligible to take up your place on our LPC, you must comply with the requirements for commencing a Legal Practice Course (LPC) set out by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
- Students must possess either a Qualifying Law Degree, usually at 2:2 or above, or a Common Professional Examination (CPE)/Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or similar qualification, such as CILEX.
- Your law degree must meet certain academic standards in order to qualify. This must include having adequately passed assessments in the seven Foundations of Legal Knowledge; Public Law, Obligations I (Contract), Obligations II (Tort), Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity & Trusts and Law of the European Union.
- English language requirements for applicants whose first language is not English
- An English Language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. Please see 'Alternative English language qualifications' section below for alternatives to IELTS.
