Leading to Year 2 of a 4-year Scottish undergraduate degree. Students will receive a CAS for the duration of the Foundation programme only. Preparing students for direct entry to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree in a wide range of subjects, including Media, Journalism, Politics, Sociology, Psychology and Sport Studies at the University of Stirling. With this pathway, students also have the opportunity to progress to one of our affiliate partner universities in Scotland. .
Depending on the university they choose, students may progress to Year 1 or Year 2 of their degree
On campus and online study options
- This program is available to study either on campus or online – giving students the flexibility to choose what’s best for them.
- If your student starts online and is then able to travel to the UK, they’ll be able to transfer to an on-campus program in January or March/April 2022. They’ll need to meet any visa requirements and demonstrate good attendance and performance during their studies online.
- If your student applies for an Online Extended program, they’ll be offered an Online Academic English plus Online or on-campus academic pathway study plan.
Key information
- Observe the Scottish political and legal systems in action with field trips to courts and the Scottish Parliament.
- Opportunity to progress to one of our partner Scottish universities, including the University of Stirling.
- Meet the University tutors and programme managers at the start of the academic year who will be the point of contact through
transitioning to the University of Stirling.

English language entry requirements
- 3 Terms: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 4.5 in any subskill) or equivalent.
